Baptists, Race, and Reconciliation Workshop

On March 3, 2022, the Institute, along with the Department of Religion’s Baptist ​Research and Identity Committee, hosted a faculty workshop and community conversation on “Baptists, Race, and Reconciliation.” The Rev. Drs. Adam Bond and Lynn Brinkley were featured speakers.  

Dr. Adam Bond is the pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Richmond VA and formerly Professor of Church History at the Samuel D. Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, Richmond, VA. 

Reverend Lynn Brinkley serves as the Associate Director of Baptist Women in Ministry.
